The Pirates are celebrating 25 years this year. On the 25th November was the offical 25th dinner celebration. A few of the guests who couldn’t attend sent through some video messages.
As part of the 25th Anniversary celebrations a 25th Anniversary Team was selected of senior players in recognition of their significant contribution to the club at ABA/QBL/NBL1 level.
A shortlist was created of 25 players from our men’s and women’s teams and coaches from the last 20 years. From the 25 nominees, a panel selected the team of 12 players and coaching staff.
Many on the players selected are home grown Pirates and represent the culture and loyalty that has been built over a number of years at South West.
The Pirates appreciate their commitment to our culture and loved seeing them in the same room together again.
Medals were presented to the players and coaches in attendance. From everyone at the Pirates.... thank you for your service to our club and your continued support.
