Queensland State League & Youth League

The Queensland State League provides an avenue for high-level senior representative competition for young developing players, players at their pinnacle, and players who have stepped down from elite competition. Teams from throughout South-East Queensland and as far north as Bundaberg and Gladstone compete in the league.

There are two competitions for men and women within the Queensland State League:

  • QSL - open age competition

  • QSLYL (Youth League) - players turning 20 or under

Players turning 16 years or older are eligible for either competition. The season generally runs from April to August.

In 2024 Pirates will be entering one men's and one women's team for both QSL and QSLYL. All four teams will be competing in Division 1.

Trials and selections for our 2024 program are now complete.
