Senior Basketball

Pirates host senior competitions all year round on Tuesdays (Women), Wednesdays & Sundays (Men). Each competition night consists of multiple divisions to cater for teams of all experience levels.


All fixtures are held at Hibiscus Sports Complex - 90 Klumpp Road, Upper Mt Gravatt.

Senior Women - Divisions 1 & 2 

Two seasons per year:

Season 1, January - June  

Season 2, July - December

All players must be registered online via Basketball Connect, prior to taking the court, for each competition they participate in. Players are to register directly into each team they play for - your team organiser/manager will need to send you an invitation link to register with the team.

BQ Registration (valid 365 days) - $76.64

BA Registration (valid 365 days) - $5.50

SWM Registration (payable for each competition & season) - $45.00

*The South West Metro fee is payable for each competition & season you register to play in.​

*The BQ and BA registrations are valid for 365-days and cover all competitions a player registers for in that period. If either expires during the season of a competition you are registering for then you will be prompted to renew it.

Any team fielding an unregistered player will be forfeited, while repeated infringements may incur removal of the team from the competition.


There is a weekly game fee of $90.00 per team, payable to the venue supervisor before each game.

A team nomination fee of $60.00 is payable for each season. This fee is paid at your team's first game.

A team cannot take the court until game fee payment is made. Point penalties apply if payment is not made prior to scheduled start time, including forfeit if not paid by end of 1st quarter.



Teams must give at least 48 hours notice of a forfeit to avoid any monetary penalties. 

Forfeits within 48 hours notice may incur a forfeit fee equal to double the usual game fee.
