David Chen

As Director of Dunk Star Basketball Club, I have focused on community basketball and youth development. Joining the SWM Board is an opportunity for me to contribute to the growth of the league. Each year, I host community basketball tournaments that connect people from different cultural backgrounds through sport. I am also engaged in broader community service, having served in various roles such as president, secretary, and board member, which has provided me with valuable organisational and governance experience. With an academic and professional background in Finance, I have developed experience in sponsorship engagement and media exposure, working closely with partners to create value. I believe basketball is not only a sport, but also a platform for cultural exchange and stronger community connections. As a board member, I hope to support SWM in delivering fair, well-organised, and community-driven competitions.
