Adam Tolo returns for his third season with the Pirates. A product of the Mackay junior program, Adam played in state teams in U16, U18 and U 20 and played college basketball at Carthage just south of Milwaukee in Wisconsin, USA. He is a seasoned player in the QBL with stints at Mackay, Northside and Brisbane.
Adam is great at attacking the rim and finishes well with either hand. His length and mobility causes problems for opposing teams. Adam produced one of the highlights of the season last year smashing a contested dunk on Tyson Demos (see below). A favorite among team mates for his competitiveness, effort and talk. The team will be looking forward to hearing him scream "YEEAAHH!" when he finishes a twisting layup to win a scrimmage at training. Our purple basline fans will be eagerly waiting for more highlights this season!
