Maddy Willey is back to Captain our Lady Pirates!
- QLD State Representative - U16/U18/U20
- Member of the Pirates Junior State Championship winning team in 2011
- Member of the Gladstone QBL team that went to the Grand Final in 2015
The importance of consistency in any team is very important and for us getting our core back in 2018 was pivotal. So, to have Maddy back at the ship was our no. 1 priority for the season ahead so I am so excited to say the least!
Maddy brings a never say die attitude to this group and ensures that the entire team works to a high level every single day we are on the floor. She is a floor general and demands the best out of our team. A great offensive weapon Maddy is still only young and will continue to learn and get better which is somewhat exciting ..
